HEAVY-DUTY FUEL SYSTEM SERVICE

Fuel Delivery & Performance

KEEP CLEAN, CONSISTENT FUEL REACHING THE ENGINE

FUEL SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS AND REPAIR FOR COMMERCIAL DIESEL ENGINES

A heavy-duty diesel engine depends on consistent fuel delivery, proper pressure and accurate injection. A restriction, leak, contamination issue or failing component can affect starting, power and overall engine performance.

Bo’s Garage provides fuel-system diagnostics and service for commercial trucks, semis and select charter or tour buses.

We work with CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Mack, International, Volvo and Paccar engines. Call with your engine information and symptoms so we can discuss the problem

Why Fuel-System Diagnosis Matters

POOR FUEL DELIVERY CAN AFFECT STARTING, POWER AND EFFICIENCY

IDENTIFY THE CAUSE BEFORE REPLACING EXPENSIVE COMPONENTS

A diesel fuel system moves fuel from the tank through filtration and delivery components before it reaches the injectors. A problem at any point can affect how the engine starts and performs.

Restrictions, air intrusion, leaks, contamination, pressure concerns and electronic faults can create similar symptoms.

Testing the related components helps identify where the problem begins and determine the appropriate repair.

FUEL-SYSTEM WARNING SIGNS

Loss of power, especially under load
Rough idle or inconsistent operation
Excessive or abnormal exhaust smoke
Reduced fuel efficiency
Fuel leaks or a noticeable fuel odor
Recurring fuel-filter concerns
Engine warning lights or fault codes
Hesitation during acceleration
Our Process

FROM PERFORMANCE CONCERN TO REPAIR PLAN

SYSTEMATIC TESTING OF THE COMPONENTS RESPONSIBLE FOR FUEL DELIVERY
1

REVIEW THE SYMPTOMS

We discuss the starting, power, smoke or operating concern and when it occurs.

2

INSPECT THE SYSTEM

Applicable filters, lines, connections and visible fuel-system components are checked for concerns.

3

TEST & DIAGNOSE

Fuel-delivery, pressure, injection or electronic components are evaluated as needed to locate the likely cause.

4

REPAIR & VERIFY

Approved repairs are completed, followed by appropriate operating checks.
